    Thin and conformable, our 3M™ Polyester Tape 8901 excels in high temperature masking operations such as powder coat painting. Coated with a silicone adhesive, this tape bonds to a variety of difficult surfaces. It is chemical resistant and performs under a wide range of temperatures and environments.

    Get high heat resistance compared to many other rubber and acrylic adhesives with 3M™ Polyester Tape 8901. Our polyester tape can be used in applications requiring high temperatures or adhesion to silicone treated surfaces. It’s made with a strong, blue polyester backing and a silicone adhesive for strength, durability and long service life. The backing offers excellent thermal, abrasion and chemical resistance while maintaining flexibility. The silicon adhesive reduces failure due to the softening, oozing and adhesive transfer.
