    3M™ Dot Matrix Label Materials are designed specifically for computer imprinting applications, including dot matrix/impact. Topcoated facestocks from polyester to semi-rigid vinyl are excellent for variable information and hand writeability. A range of 3M adhesives suits labeling applications from low-temp environments and acid-resistant battery labels to decorative films and overlaminations.

    For laser etching, use 3M™ Laser Markable Label Stock 7847. It’s designed for laser applications that can ablate the top layer of label stock, with a brittle facestock that provides destructibility on some substrates. Our 60 micron labelstock offers extreme durability for nameplates against underhood automotive chemicals and abrasion resistance, with excellent environmental and temperature resistance – withstanding high temperatures up to 200 °C. It’s ideal for adhesion to low surface energy plastics and textured powder coated painted surfaces, as well as a variety of other substrates.
